Maths Work (Geometry)

This week I am posting about my Maths work. This week we have been doing Geometry. To start we had to draw a 4x4 square box in our Maths Book. Then we had to draw a simple shape in the square. After that we got a piece of cardboard and drew it onto it. Then we got a piece of paper and folded it in quarters. Then we rotated our shape 4 times and drew it on. Then we coloured it. It was so much fun. Here is a photo of the finished product.

Today I am posting about my favourite Reading task this week. My favourite activity was Readworks. For this we had to read a short passage called 'Winning The Vote'. It was about Women getting the right to vote. After we had to answer some questions. I really enjoyed this activity and learning about NZ history.

Toolkits 2020!

Hi Bloggers,

Yesterday we did Toolkits online; with Google Meet. Toolkits is when you collaborate with other bloggers to learn new things. I learnt how to use Word Cloud Creator, Incredibox and Piskel. I really enjoyed learning about everything. The only thing I didn't like was when people tried to use the chat on Google Meet and it sometimes would not load. Also people didn't turn their microphones off so that was distracting.

Creative Writing 😎

Hey Bloggers!

Today I am posting about creative writing. I have written 2 stories so far. One factual report and one fictional story. Anyway the next 2 paragraphs will be about my creative writing.

Creative Writing 1 was about how animals can get COVID-19. It was mostly about lions and cats. I also added a bit of humor.

Creative writing 2 was about a kid who turns 7 and his brother ruined his birthday. But it works in the end.
