Compressive Strenght
Hello bloggers around the world๐๐, today for SLJ I did the Nanogirl activity. For this, we were testing compressive strength. This is when you have a structure and you test how much weight it can handle. Below is a video of mine. If you want to do it watch the video below that.

Kai Ora Daniel. It's Maddison here. I'm doing the Summer Learning Journey as well. Your experiment was really cool. What was your favourite part about this task? Before you did your experiment, did you think if the circular, triangular or the walls, of what one/s would fall or stand?
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed your post.
Happy New Year, Daniel!

Kia ora Daniel,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Shannon and I’m from the Summer Learning Journey.
You’ve done a fantastic job building your super columns! I’m so impressed. I love that you’ve included an instructional video explaining how it works and showing how it is the superior column by demonstrating the effectiveness of other shapes! Ka pai! I also like how you’ve added a bit of comedy to make it more enjoyable for your audience.
Did you enjoy building super columns? What sort of building might you build with a few of these?
Keep up the incredible work!
Ka kite anล,
Shannon (SLJ)
