Family Fun Day

Family Fun Day

On Friday last week we had Family Fun Day. Family Fun Day is when you and your family can come to school for a day full of fun! It is usually held anually at our school (other than good old 2020) The way it works is you get into one of four house groups; Tui (my house) Kea, Ruru or Pukeko. Then you rotate around different activities. The activites were bouncy castles, waterslide, wheels zone as well as the pool and slip & slide. That is the order Tui went in. The bouncy castle was an obstacle race. Then the waterslide was a bouncy castle with a pool of water at the end. It was exhilirating. For the wheels zone I brought my scooter. Then finally we split into two groups within our house group. One group would go to the pool first and one to the slip & slide first. My group (B) went to the pool first, then the slip & slide. It was really really fun. Our school was also fundraising for school camp later in the year. We made over $1,000 dollars from the bake sale and enviromental group stall. Family Fun Day is very exhausting. Do you have family fun day at your school? Below is a photo of Tui.

  1. An excellent informative description of the activities of the day Daniel. I'm loving the word exhilarating! The bouncy wet slide certainly had lots of kids shrieking! I think you could find some more images to add to your blog post. The slip and slide and bouncy castle pics are fun to look at, even if it is not you but your friends.
