Mental Health messages

Hello everyone,
This week in Te Waka Ako we have been writing positive messages about mental health for a Gumboot Friday message drop. On the 3rd of April the seniors will go around the area and drop cardboard gumboot messages in people's letterboxes. Here are my poems.

Be Kind
Never stop dreaming
Life is great
Believe in yourself
Never give up
Let your dreams come true

You are capable of amazing things
Don't feed you fears
Your feelings are valid
Stay strong, you story isn't over yet
Make your mental health a priority
Life is tough but you are amazing

The sun will rise and so will you
It' okay to not be okay
You make a difference in this world
Don't doubt yourself You can do it
You are the best you

  1. Ka pai Daniel. What great positive messages. And sharing them on your blogs means people still get to see them! It reminds me of the 5 ways to wellbeing (give, be active, keep learning, connect and take notice).

  2. Hello Daniel. It's Abigail. I used to be in Hauraki, at Waikowhai Primary. So reading your blog makes me really excited. I really like your writing. It gives me alertness of mental health. I remember doing this least year! It was super fun. For your next post, see if you need any commas and also were you excited for the upcoming event?

    Spread happiness!
    Abigail

    1. Nice to hear your voice too Abigail. You had lots of lovely writing last year so I understand you appreciating Daniels writing. Hope your family are all safe.

  3. Well done blogging this work just before we left school, Daniel. There are so many cool lines in this poem. We can all take these and use them in these times of isolation. I hope you and your family and enjoying each others company.
