Wonder Project

Dawidi Bloggers
(Hello in Kinyarwanda)

This term & last term Te Waka Ako has been doing the Wonder Project. In order to do the Wonder Project you need to have a 1.5 litre soda bottle. We were also challenged to make it more aerodynamic. Aerodynamic means making something more sleek so that it can go further. To make it aerodynamic my group added fins and also made a cone at the top, made from the top of another bottle.

We had to launch the rockets at 45 degrees. Why? We launched them like that because otherwise they would only fly up ⬆️ not sideways ↖️, because the competition was furthest not highest.

We did two flights, one test flight and a final flight. My group's test rocket broke apart straight after landing, however our final flight rocket flew the furthest. The final flight one was a competition. Below is a video & some photos of the Wonder Project.

Please note: I was NOT here on the day of the final flight.
