SLJ Week 3 Day 1 - Nanogirl Compressive Strength

SLJ Week 2, Day 3 - Jingle Bells

Hello bloggers around the world🌏👈, today for summer learning journey we ad to make our own version of... Jingle bells, BUT it ad to be Kiwi style. We also ad to sing it. Below are some reasons ow Christmas is different in the northern & southern hemisphere. 

 

- Different seasons

- People in the Sothern hemisphere normally go to the beach.

- People in the northern hemisphere sing carols at people doors

- Christmas cards are more popular in the northern hemisphere.

Slip & Slide!

Slip & Slide

Hello bloggers around the world🌏👈, yesterday at school we had a slip & slide. For the slip & slide we had a huge slide that we put on a hill in school. Then our school's caretaker added soapy water to the slide. Once we were in our togs we went to the slide. It was so much fun. Some people even crashed and got super soapy at the end! At one point we had to go with a buddy. I chose my friend Nora. For the last slide I ran onto the slide and zoomed down it. In the end I crashed and got super soapy. After that we got washed off. The water to wash us off was super cold. Then we hopped in the pool. The pool was really nice and warm. Then we hopped out to get changed. I had a really fun time. Below are some photos.

Xmas Decortions

Xmas Decorations

Hello bloggers around the world🌍👈, this week we have been doing christmas decorations. We made woven hearts and christmas trees. For the christmas trees we had two pieces of paper, one was the template and the other one was coloured paper. Then we had to poke the holes with a pin to make christmas tree on the coloured paper on the carpet. For the woven hearts we got two pieces of paper (again), and we had to cut out the shape on it. Then we had to cut the lines. After that we had to weave them together. All of that was really fun. My favourite thing was the christmas tree. Below are some photos. Even a video on how to make the woven hearts!
