SLJ Wk4 D4 A3 - Top Secret Street Art

Hi Bloggers,
It's the 2nd to last day of the Summer Learning Journey! Today I am looking at Street Art in Christchurch. I have only been to Christchurch once and it was fun! Here are the pictures I chose.

Differences: They have different colours. The bird is used on the Metrocard. The flowers are in water.
Similarities: They are both in nature. They both have green. They both have leaves

  1. Kia ora Daniel,

It is great to see that you are still actively completing Summer Learning Journey activities. I have thoroughly enjoyed following your journey over the summer. You have done a great job with all your activities and have worked really hard. I am so proud of you, Daniel.

That is so awesome that you have visited Christchurch before. Did you notice these murals when you were exploring. These are beautiful pieces of art that you have chosen to examine. I really like both of them, however, I think the mural with the Wax Eye bird is absolutely beautiful. This is a New Zealand native bird. I was lucky enough to have a close encounter with one the other day. My cat decided to bring it to me as a present. Luckily, it wasn't hurt just a bit shocked. The birds mother was still close by looking for the chick so I was able to return it. It was such a beautiful moment to watch this little whanau reunited.

Keep up the awesome Mahi, Daniel. I am looking forward to seeing your final few activities come through over the next couple of days.

    Kindest regards,
    Megan :)

  2. Hello Daniel,
Oh my god! It is nearly the end of the Summer Learning Journey. This is the second to last day. You are, so close to finishing the Summer Learning Journey. Only three more activities to go! I really like how you incorporated that you have gone to Christchurch before. Another thing that caught my attention was that you attribute the images. Well done for doing that. I have never gone to Christchurch before. I heard in my new school that if you do good in chess you could go to Christchurch to battle other people. Maybe next time you could add some back story to the activity. Overall, this is a phenomenal blog post! Enjoy the rest of the Summer Learning Journey!
