Animate A Name Coding

Përshëndetje Bloggers
(Hello in Albanian)

Today I am blogging about my coding. Today I coded my cats name, Scarlet. It was really fun. I tried to do different things for each letter but I ran out of time 😢. It was still pretty fun. I learnt how to

- Make the letters change colour
- Make the letters spin around
- Make them look like they are dancing
- Make them bounce up and down
- Make them wave
- And make them talk

Below is mine

EPro8 Challenge Portal

Haye Bloggers
(Hello in Somali)

Today I will be telling you about the EPro8 challenge portal. The EPro8 challenge is where lots of schools compete against each other by building things. Usually it takes place outside school but it is different this year because of coronavirus.

The portal is where you enter your team name and details. You need to do this to see the live stream at 9:30 am tomorrow. I have never done EPro8 so I am excited.

Baking Soda & Vinegar Volcano

Salom Bloggers
(Hello in Uzbek)

Today I have done a Baking Soda & Vinegar Volcano with my family. It was really fun. We all got to make our own and choose different colours. I choose Yellow. Sadly I didn't add enough so it didn't come out. My little brother choose Blue. His came through really well.

For those of you who don't know how to make a Volcano, it's quite easy. All you do is mix Baking Soda & Vinegar in a dish you are willing to get dirty.

TIP: DO IT OUTSIDE UNLESS YOU WANT TO CLEAN UP A GIANT MESS!

Egg Carton Face Masks

Hoi Bloggers
(Hello in Frisian)

Today for my Other activity at school I did the Face Masks. No not the ones you wear over your nose and mouths OK! I mean ones you make out of egg cartons. Yeah, its kinda hard to explain. You have to get some egg cartons and kinda cut them to make different shapes so you can make a face. Anyway it's probably better if I give you the link. Here is the link on how to make it.

Today in addition to my daily post. (Link) I am also posting about some brownies I made with my nanny, Kaitlin. They were absolutely delicious. The downside was that they took FOREVER to bake. I think it is something wrong with our oven. Anyway they were definitely worth the wait. They are from Cafe Delites.

18/8/2020 Activities

Habari Bloggers
(Hello in Swahili)

Today I have done a range of fun activities. Below is a description of each activity.

Today we did our first class google meet. I really enjoyed it. Sadly though my internet connection wasn't very good so it kicked me off a few minutes early.

First I did Reading. I did an ARBS activity about Black Holes. An ARB activity is where you read a text and then you have to answer questions. I really like doing ARBS.

After Reading I did Writing. I had to write about this haunted house. That was really fun too. I also had to try and achieve my goal. I think I did a good job. I wrote 129 words.

2nd to last I had Maths. For Maths I also did and ARB but it was about decimals. I don't know how many I got correct because it didn't mark it. I think I did a good job though.

Last but not least I did my other activity. What I choose was an activity were we draw one of our favourite teddy bears. When we go back to school the teachers will put all of them together.

Something else I did was "Te Waka Ako Can Cook". All of the people in the syndicate (including the teachers) can put in a family favourite recipe. Mine are "Shape Biscuits" as called by my little brother.
