Back At School! (Mandala Patterns)

Back At School!

Hello bloggers around the world๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ‘ˆ, today I am blogging about returning to school and one of my favourite tasks. So basically because kids in primary school can't get vaccinated we can only go back part time. Below is a timetable of the days I am at school. Going back to school has been really fun, especially being able to see friends and teachers.

Right, as I mentioned at the beginning I was going to talk about one of my favourite tasks. The task that I picked was doing Mandala Patterns. For those of you who don't know what Mandala Patterns are, I will explain now. Mandala Patterns are basically symmetric patterns that can represent ones journey. For more information on Mandala Patterns click here. I decided to make mine with a diamond in the middle below are some photos of the creation and final result of my Mandala.

 Today's tasks

Hello bloggers around the world๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ‘ˆ, today I am blogging about what I did today. First I will talk about what I did today then something else fun I did at the end.

For our Maths today we had a warm up and a main tasks. The war up was this game called “Who want to be a Hundredaire”. I got $550. For my main task I did the Tapa cloth tasks. They were all super fun. My favourite was the Tapa Cloth activities. Below is the Tapa Cloth Slideshow.

For our Writing I looked through the slideshow to figure out what a fable is. Then on Slide 11 I wrote the definition of a fable in my own words. I really enjoyed reading about what a fable is. Below is the slideshow

For our Reading task I listened to “It's OK to be different. I also listened to the fable “The Hare and the tortoise”. Below is my fable task.

For my Other task I did the "Walking" Water Experiment. It was pretty fun. I even made a time-lapse of the water going through the paper towels. I will add the video on later tonight.

I also did a special challenge. I have been watching these translation recipe videos. Basically someone puts a recipe through Google Translate a bunch of times then puts it back to English. Today I got my older brother to give us one too. It was "Dry Chocolate Cake" (or rather "Swedish Sticky Chocolate Cake" before translation). It was super fun. Below is a photo of it.

Pizza Making Fun

 Making Pizza!!!

Hello bloggers around the world๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ‘ˆ, today for my Writing work I have to blog about something fun I did in the holidays. As you may have read from the title I am blogging about Making Pizza. Basically when I turned 11 my parents offered me to srat earning pocket money for doing chores. I said yes. My jobs are loading the dishwasher, emptying the compost, putting the compost bin out (when needed) and making dinner once a week. For making my dinner last week I made Pizza (suprise, suprise!!!). I was looking online for pizza recipes (tasty.co) and found one called "Ultimate Homemade Pizza". I decided to make it. It was super duper fun, I even managed to toss the dough in the air! The recipe made way more pizzas than I needed so I halved the recipe. One was Pesto & Garlic, one Margerita and the other one was topped with Capsicum & Salami. Here is a link to the recipe. Sadly I have no photos ๐Ÿ˜ญ.

Weekly Baking - Pavlova!

 Pavlova

Hello bloggers around the world๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ‘ˆ, today I am blogging about what I made with my Nanny this week. Each week I will be blogging about my baking that I do. This week we made Pavlova. My younger brother came up with the idea and was inspired by The Little Blue Duck. In the story a little blue duck (Whio) makes a pavlova and asks the other native animals at the farm to help. Each time they don't so the Whio says "I'll do out myself then". In the end they all want to eat it however the duck says "Since you were to lazy to help when it comes to eating, I'll do it myself". We used a recipe from Chelsea Sugar. Link here. We decorated it with strawberries, whipped cream and, kiwifruit. Below are some photos.

Next week
I will be
making
a Double
Chocolate
Mousse
Tart. Stay
Tuned!
